3 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> March 15, 1999 <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: <br /> Public Hearing—Real Transportation: <br /> Selectman Marsters opened the Public Hearing on the application of <br /> Donald S. Blethen, d/b/a Real Transportation, 174 Lowell Road, #10, <br /> Mashpee for a livery service license. <br /> Mrs. Mason read aloud the Public Hearing notice as published. Due to a <br /> technicality in the advertisement,the Board agreed to continue the <br /> hearing. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Caffyn to continue the Public Hearing of <br /> Real Transportation for the purpose of re-advertisement. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Leveille. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Public Hearing Continuance—Bobby B rne's: <br /> Selectman Leveille stepped down for the above referenced hearing. <br /> Selectman Marsters opened the Public Hearing on the liquor license <br /> application of Poet's Pub, Inc. d/b/a Bobby Byrne's Pub to alter the <br /> premises by increasing the seating capacity of the"Sidewalk Cafe"by <br /> twenty(20) seats and by modifying the outside service bar by adding eight <br /> (8)bar stools, all seats visible at all times. <br /> Mrs. Mason, Assistant Town Administrator read aloud the Public Hearing <br /> notice as published. <br /> Robert Byrne was present to discuss the license application with the <br /> Selectmen. As noted the change in description of premises lie within <br /> existing parameters of the outside"Sidewalk Cafe". The area is well <br /> defined. The change does not involve additional construction, wiring or <br /> plumbing. <br /> Mr. Byrne indicated that the change in description will allow for *thirty <br /> additional seats. Twenty-two seats at the additional tables, and eight seats <br /> at the service bar. <br />
