3 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> April 26, 1999 <br /> OLD BUSINESS: <br /> A roval and Execution of the Fire Station Architectural Services <br /> Contract: <br /> The Selectmen reviewed the Standard Form of Agreement between the <br /> Owner and Architect relative to the renovation of the Mashpee Fire and <br /> Rescue Station. <br /> The Agreement has been reviewed and approved to form by Town <br /> Counsel,Kopelman and Paige. The Architect,Wallace,Floyd, <br /> Associates, Inc. has also agreed to the contractual terms as stipulated. <br /> Town Meeting vote is necessary to authorize funding for the project <br /> proposal, and a debt exclusion is required for appropriation. The Architect <br /> is authorized to proceed with work necessary to bring the project to the <br /> phase of Design Development, and the compensation payable under this <br /> work shall not exceed; $64,749. <br /> The total appropriation required for the renovation proposal is $275,521, <br /> Motion made by Selectman Caffyn to approve the Standard AIA <br /> Agreement between the Town of Mashpee and Wallace,Floyd, <br /> Associates,Inc. for the renovation of the Mashpee Fire& Rescue <br /> Station as presented. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Frye. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: <br /> Public Hearin --Mashpee High School Booster's Club: <br /> Selectman Marsters opened the Public Hearing on the application of the <br /> Mashpee High School Booster's Club to conduct a Carnival from June 30, <br /> 1999 to July 7, 1999 a the Mashpee High School, 500 Old Barnstable <br /> Road,Mashpee. <br /> Mrs. Mason, Assistant Town Administrator read aloud the Public Hearing <br /> notice as published. <br />
