I <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> May 17, 1999 <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Adoption of Small Necessities Leave Policy: <br /> Marilyn Farren,Personnel Administrator was present to request the Board <br /> adopt the Small Necessities Leave Policy as Town Policy as required by <br /> I Massachusetts Statute. <br /> Mrs. Farren described the policy in her memorandum to the Selectmen <br /> dated April 23, 1999. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cahalane to adopt the Small Necessities <br /> Leave Policy as Town Policy as recommended. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Aouointment._of Lifeguards: <br /> Motion made by Selectman Leveille to appoint the following <br /> Lifeguard recommendations through June 30,2000; <br /> Jessica Steiger <br /> John Lodi <br /> Colleen McPike <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Rea intment of Leisure Services Summer Staff: <br /> The Board received a memorandum from the Personnel Administrator <br /> dated May 12, 1999 recommending the Selectmen re-appoint the returning <br /> Summer Hire Staff for the 1999 season. (enclosed) <br /> Motion made by Selectman Leveille to approve the re-appointment of <br /> the Summer Hire Staff for the 1999 season as outlined in the <br /> memorandum of May 11, 1999. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br />
