12 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> May 17, 1999 <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Mashpee Commons Request for Annual Entertainment Permit: <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cahalane to approve the license request of <br /> Mashpee Commons for Annual Entertainment as submitted for the <br /> 1999 season. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Request for One Day Wine and Malt License: <br /> The Board received correspondence from the Mashpee Chamber of <br /> Commerce requesting a one-day liquor license for the following events; <br /> Sunday,June 6, 1999 Fifth Annual Taste of Mashpee <br /> Saturday,July 17, 1999 Las Vegas Night <br /> Saturday, October 8, 1999 Oktoberfest <br /> Motion made by Selectman Leveille to approve the above(3) <br /> referenced dates for a one-day liquor license contingent upon the <br /> approval of the Chief of Police. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Request for a One-Dgy Wine and Malt License: <br /> It is the consensus of the Board to defer the acceptance of the above <br /> request to obtain additional information. The applicant,Nauset,Inc. will <br /> be requested to discuss the request with the Selectmen at the next <br /> scheduled meeting. <br />
