4 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> August 11, 1999 <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: <br /> SD-5 & TCE Plumes Update&Construction Plans_ <br /> The Selectmen agreed with closer monitoring, and requested the MMR <br /> consider a monitoring system if the device were to shut down. Bill Fisher, <br /> Environmental Consultant for the Town will be requested to render an <br /> opinion of the proposal for the benefit of Mashpee residents. <br /> Board of Health Agent,Elias McQuaid asked what will become of the <br /> contaminated air mass within the closed loop system? It was noted that it <br /> will be recirculated within the system. There is no mass transfer or <br /> accumulation. <br /> There was no action taken by the Board. Additional information will be <br /> requested from the Town's regulatory agencies, and from Mr. Fisher. The <br /> MMR was requested to present a formal report to the Selectmen. The <br /> impacts and remediation to Hooppole Road were also requested to be <br /> further defined. <br /> The Board agreed to discuss this matter on the agenda of August 23, 1999. <br /> Adjournment: <br /> Motion made by Selectman Leveille to adjourn at 8:00 p.m. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Blythe. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Respectively submitted, f <br /> Kathleen M.
