8 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> August 25, 1999 <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: <br /> Joint Meeti pig with Planning Board—Review of Zoning Articles: <br /> Article #31: The bylaw would allow golf courses, whether for profit or <br /> not, in any zoning district, and establish a special permit <br /> approval process and regulations specifying required buffer <br /> areas from neighboring properties, water bodies and <br /> wetlands, required minimum undisturbed open space and <br /> the submission of information regarding water quality and <br /> other potential impacts. <br /> Selectman Marsters stepped down for the discussion of the above <br /> referenced article. <br /> It was noted that the Planning Board voted 3-1 in favor of Article#31. <br /> The Watershed Management Committee voted unanimously to endorse the <br /> article to include no net increase in nitrogen loading. Discussion <br /> followed. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cahalane to allow Article##31 to remain <br /> on the Town Meeting warrant. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: 2-0. Motion carries. <br /> Selectman Leveille,Selectman Blythe abstained. <br /> Selectman Marsters absent. <br /> It was noted that a petition article appears on the warrant similar to the <br /> above referenced article. <br /> Article#32: To allow for limited retail activities in portions of the <br /> Mashpee Industrial Park and an adjacent industrial area. <br /> Wayne Duchemin, the Economic Development Coordinator <br /> was present to recommend approval of said article. <br /> Article#33: To change the zoning designation of two lots in the <br /> Mashpee Industrial park between Industrial Drive and <br /> Great Hay Road from residential to industrial. <br /> Article#34: Overlay District---Historic Character <br />
