Board of Selectmen Minutes 10 March 9, 1998 I APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS- D' r of Rublir, WQAs re: Landscape Greg Taylor, Director of Public Works was present to recommend the Board award the Landscape of Town Buildings bid to Dominic Crupi, Jr., The Capescaper for the sum of$17,950. It was noted that several landscaping firms did not meet the evaluation criteria. The funding is contained in the Department of Public Works budget. Selectman Caffyn requested a cost estimate to install an irrigation system at the newly renovated Town Hall facility: She suggested that the irrigation be installed prior to the landscape process. Mr. Taylor indicated that the budget does not include funds for irrigation. He will furnish an estimate to the Board for review and consideration. Motion made by Selectman Frye to award the Landscape of Town Buildings bid to Dominic Crupi,Jr.,The Capescaper for the sum of $17,950 as recommended. Motion seconded by Selectman Caffyn. VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. Muthwe .Commons BoundarY Line Proposal: John Renz, a representative from Mashpee Commons Limited Partnership was present to discuss the issues surrounding the common boundary line between the Town and MCLP, west of the Police and Fire stations. It was noted that MCLP has entered into negotiations for the sale of two lots, Such sale would result in the two lots becoming one parcel, which would be used for the construction of a funeral home. Presently,there are separate plans depicting the location of the shared boundary of the subject parcel. In an effort to avoid litigation,MCLP presented a revised common boundary that divides the difference of the two disparate lines. A gift of an easement which would enable the Town to connect its land, and construct a bikepath will be provided by MCLP if the boundary is agreed upon.
