} <br /> i <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes 11 <br /> March 9, 1998 <br /> I <br /> APPQR9MENTS AND IMARIN <br /> Mashpee re: BoundM Line Pro1' (continued) <br /> Mr. Whritenour, Executive Secretary recommended approval to <br /> move the project forward in an effort to begin the process to realign the <br /> Police and Fire entrance in an expeditious manner to benefit public safety. <br /> # Motion made by Selectman Marsters to approve the Boundary <br /> Line Proposal as reviewed between the Town of Mashpee and the <br /> Mashpee Commons Limited Partnership. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Frye. <br /> yQTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Mr. Whritenour was directed to draft an article for Town Meeting approval. <br /> Cam h ort Associates, LGift to Town: <br /> The Board received a gift in the amount of$26,500 for the purpose of <br /> hiring additional staff to assist the Building Department for the increased <br /> workload in an effort to mitigate impacts of the Southport development <br /> project. <br /> It was noted that"no conflicts or special interests"were considered. The <br /> donation will assist all developers in the Town of Mashpee, and aid to alleviate <br /> physical constraints within Town Departments. Town Counsel approved <br /> the contribution as presented. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Frye to accept the gift of Cape <br /> Southport Associates,LLC in the amount of$26,500 for the purposes <br /> of augmenting staff in the Building Department. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Caffyn. <br /> VOTE,: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Mr. Hauck,Building Inspector was requested to update the Board on a <br /> monthly basis with regards to general site construction and activities. <br />
