I <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes 12 <br /> March 9, 1998 <br /> I NEW BUSINESS. <br /> M Urm Town Plannerre: Sites fHabitat for H i P e <br /> Correspondence was received from Tom Fudala, the Town Planner <br /> dated March 3, 1998 relative to potential site locations for a land donation <br /> to the Habitat for Humanity. Representatives from the Habitat were present <br /> to discuss the selected sites with members of the Board of Selectmen. <br /> Site#22, located off Ashers Path was the preferred location. It was noted <br /> that the land donation and housing will qualify the Town for inclusion in the <br /> state's affordable housing inventory. <br /> Residents from the Town of Mashpee will be selected as part of the criteria <br /> for the Habitat for Humanity home. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Marsters to support the land donation <br /> as depicted for the Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod,Inc. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Frye. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Mr. Whritenour was directed to prepare an article for the Town Meeting <br /> warrant to transfer the parcel for the construction of a house for sale to a <br /> person of low or very low income for Habitat for Humanity. <br /> COMMUNICATIONS AND COEUSPONDENCE <br /> Correspondencpfrom the 'down of Falmouth re: Barnstable Comnty_ air- <br /> Communication was received from the Town of Falmouth dated <br /> February 24, 1998 relative to the Barnstable County Fair's request for an <br /> extension. <br /> In order to address the majority of concerns,the Police Chiefs from the Towns <br /> of Falmouth and Mashpee will meet with representatives from the Fair to codify <br /> a traffic management plan. The request for an extension will be reconsidered <br /> on this date with members of the Falmouth Board of Selectmen. <br /> i <br />
