Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes S <br /> March 30, 1998 <br /> PUBLIC Cffi E M <br /> Wendy Williams indicated that two items appeared on the Selectmen's <br /> agenda that Selectman Caffyn would have definitely opposed. It was <br /> clear she would have wanted to take part in the discussion,but she was <br /> away on vacation. Ms. Williams stated that the chairman should have <br /> waited to discuss the agenda items when Selectman Caffyn was back from <br /> vacation. <br /> Board of Appeals Chairman, Ed Govoni indicated that his board met with <br /> members of the Planning Board to discuss the Local Comprehensive Plan. <br /> There are several major items to address. Mr. Govoni recommended the <br /> Selectmen consider the article for the October Town Meeting warrant. <br /> P NT <br /> SchoQI Committee and Leisure Seryicgs„re:_Use of Facilities: <br /> The Board of Selectmen held a joint meeting with members of the School <br /> Committee and Leisure Services Advisory Council for the purpose of <br /> reviewing existing policies and the "Use of Facilities"form. Sheila Arnold, <br /> Chairman of the Leisure Services Advisory Council was present for discussion. <br /> Gus Frederick,the Leisure Services Director was also in attendance. <br /> Mrs. Arnold discussed several ongoing problems relative to the Leisure <br /> Service Agreement. Lack of communication was deemed the most important <br /> issue of concern. <br /> Mr. Whritenour was directed to address the matter on behalf of the Board of <br /> Selectmen with applicable parties. The issue will be periodically reviewed. <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> FishingIbbs Extension-Discussionm <br /> Selectman Marsters stepped down for the above issue of discussion. <br /> Tom Fudala, the Town Planner and Patrick Coffey,the Chairman of the <br /> Planning Board were present to review the subject of Jobs Fishing Road <br /> Extension with members of Board of Selectmen and interested public. <br />
