Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes 6 <br /> April 27, 1998 <br /> Application for AbaLement of Road Be rm ' <br /> Mr. Whritenour,Executive Secretary submitted a memo to the Board dated <br /> April 22, 1998 relative to applications for abatement of street betterment's. <br /> (enclosed) <br /> Motion made by Selectman Marsters to accept the recommendation of <br /> the Executive Secretary and deny the road abatement application of; <br /> Cindy and Michael Burke 45 Oregon Road <br /> Robert R.Peters 16 Papnomett Road <br /> and grant 100% abatement to; <br /> Christopher A. Newman 373 Ashers Path <br /> Robert Osborn 333 Falmouth Road <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Frye. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Renewal Qf MIdlife Refuge MemorandWY17 <br /> Town Planner, Thomas Fudala presented a memo to the Board dated <br /> April 23, 1998 requesting the Selectmen formally vote to extend participation <br /> in the Mashpee National Wildlife Refuge for an additional three years. <br /> The Memorandum of Understanding under which the Town has agreed to <br /> participate in joint management lands within the boundaries of the Mashpee <br /> National Wildlife Refuge with eight other signatories, including the U.S. Fish <br /> and Wildlife Service, state agencies,the Town of Falmouth,the Falmouth Rod <br /> and Gun Club,the Orenda Wildlife Land Trust and the Mashpee Wampanoag <br /> Tribal Council expires on April 30, 1998. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Frye to continue to be a participating partner <br /> in the Mashpee National Wildlife Memorandum of Understanding, and <br /> approve the(3) year extension. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Caffyn. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br />
