Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> April 27, 1998 <br /> P <br /> Public Hearing- Continuance of Chef D's Liguox Liven$_ <br /> Selectman Costa continued the Public Hearing on the application of <br /> Chef D's for a wine and malt beverage license. The Board received <br /> correspondence from the applicant dated April 23, 1998 requesting the <br /> application be withdrawn at this time. <br /> Selectman Costa opened the Public Hearing to obtain comment. Being none, <br /> he requested a vote from the Board to close the Public Hearing. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Caffyn to close the Public Hearing. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Marsters. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Motion made b y Selectman Frye to approve the request of Chef D's <br /> to withdraw the Wine and Malt Beverage license application. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Marsters. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> OLD BUSINESS: <br /> Memo ftom the Watemys Commission re' Liaison to W quoit Bay Committee: <br /> Correspondence was received from the Waterways Commission dated <br /> April 13, 1998 requesting the Board appoint Fred Fordham as liaison to the above <br /> referenced committee. <br /> Waterways Commission Chairman, Jim Hanks indicated that the recommended <br /> candidate is unable to act as liaison to the Waquoit Bay Committee. The <br /> Waterways Commission is expected to submit an additional recommendation to <br /> the Selectmen for consideration. *Agenda topic. <br />
