{ Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> June 8, 1998 <br /> Present: Selectman Marsters, Selectman Frye, Selectman Taylor, <br /> Selectman Caffyn, Selectman Leveille <br /> Executive Secretary Robert Whritenour <br /> Assistant to the Executive Secretary Joyce Mason <br /> Meeting Called to_Order by Chairman Marsters at 6:30 p.m. <br /> Town Hall, Meeting Room#1. <br /> MDaff E_S: <br /> Monday, 1$ 199$ RegWar and ExecutiveSessions <br /> Motion made by Selectman Caffyn to approve the Regular <br /> Session minutes of Monday,May 18, 1998 as presented. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Leveiile. <br /> V TE: Unanimous, 5-0. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Caffyn to approve the Executive <br /> Session minutes of Monday, May 18, 1998 as presented. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Frye. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> HEARINGS: <br /> Fire Station Building Co mi - Prqject Status Re <br /> Jim Vaccaro, Chairman of the Fire Station Building Committee was present <br /> with Fire Chief George Baker to discuss the status of the Fire and Rescue <br /> Station renovation project and future sub-station location with members of the <br /> Board of Selectmen_ <br /> Mr. Vaccaro indicated that the committee conducted due diligence on potential <br /> site locations for a future satellite station in South Mashpee. The unanimous <br /> choice of the committee is the former Keeter property located off Red Brook <br /> Road. <br /> The site of approximately forty-five acres is Town owned land, and would present <br /> minimum conflict with traffic and existing properties. Tom Fudala,the Town <br /> Planner, assisted in the site selection process. <br />
