Board of Selectmen 3 <br /> Minutes <br /> November 30, 1998 <br /> COb0fi lCATIONS AND CORRESPONDENCE: <br /> Rec=ition-ofAnimal Control Officer: <br /> Correspondence was received from William C. Przybylek, Chief of Police <br /> dated November 19, 1998 recognizing Animal Control Officer,June Daley <br /> for the great television series she has recently developed. <br /> Ms. Daley was honored for her local cable television show, "Give Us Shelter," <br /> which finds homes for stray cats. Her show won first place in a regional <br /> television competition. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Leveille to direct the Executive Secretary <br /> to prepare a letter of commendation to Animal Control Officer,June <br /> Daley for her fine work on behalf of the Board of Selectmen. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Frye. <br /> VOTE; Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> FY2000 Budget: <br /> Mr. Whritenour, Executive Secretary indicated that the budget calendar will <br /> be submitted to the Selectmen next week. All budget requests will be forwarded <br /> to the Finance Committee in mid-January. A joint meeting with the Finance <br /> Committee and School Department will be held in We January. <br /> Utility-Pole Relocation: <br /> The utility pole located in the area of Old Barnstable Road and Route 151 <br /> is scheduled to be relocated on December 1, 1998. <br /> �iGtlyltles: <br /> A letter of appreciation was issued to Colonel Shiver for his recent presentation, <br /> He will be requested to update the Selectmen on a quarterly basis. <br /> coming Selectmen's Meetings: <br /> Monday, December 7, 1998 - 9:00 a.m. -Tax Classification Hearing. <br /> Monday,December 21, 1998 -6:30 p.m. -Regular Meeting <br />
