Mr . Gottlieb seconded the motion and <br /> Mrs . Jacobson was In favor. Mr. Hanson was not present for the vote. <br /> APPOINTMENTS & HEARINGS <br /> 1 . TAX CLASSIFICATION HEARING - A public hearing was held <br /> relative to the allcoation of the tax levy by <br /> classification of property. Pam Davis , Deputy Assessor was <br /> present to explain the recommendations of the Board of <br /> Assessors. <br /> Mr. Lawrence moved that the tax rate remain the same for <br /> all land classifications as recommended by the Board of <br /> Assessors. fir. Hanson seconded the motion. All were in <br /> favor. <br /> 2. SCHOOL BUILDING COMMITTEE - SCHOOL ARCHITECT - The Board <br /> received a memorandum from the School Building Committee <br /> relative- to their choice of Carlson Associates as architect <br /> to design a new elementary school in Mashpee. <br /> Mr . Jones informed the Committee that Carlson Associates <br /> had accepted all reservations indicated by Town Counsel . <br /> The Board agreed to vote on the issue once the contract is <br /> available. Mr. Harrington Indicated that the contract <br /> would be available on Monday, February 26 , 1990. <br />
