Edward Taylor, Dave Ryan, Alexander <br /> Dittami , Tony Ferragamo, Tom Fudala <br /> The meeting convened at 7 :00 p.m. <br /> APPOINTMENTS & HEARINGS <br /> 1 _ TAYLOR RISK MANAGEMENT - Mr. Edward Taylor of Taylor Risk <br /> Management was present to discuss findings and <br /> recommendations concerning the Town" s insurance grogram. <br /> Mr. Taylor stated that one area of immediate cost reduction <br /> is in the auto insurance on Town vehicles, which represents <br /> $22,000 of unnecessary coverage. Also, he stated that the <br /> Town should open the entire insurance program to bidding <br /> with other insurance agents. As of May 1 , . 1990, insurance <br /> becomes part of. the bid law and has .to be bid on an annual <br /> basis . <br /> Mr . Taylor also i nd'i crated that he felt that the Town's <br /> package .policy which includes property and liability <br /> insurance coverage is overpriced_ <br /> Mr. Harrington indicated that he support Mr. Taylor's <br /> proposal to put together, an insurance Program for the next <br /> several years. <br /> Mr . Hanson moved to authorize the Executive Secretary to <br /> engage the services of Taylor Risk Management to prepare <br /> insurance coverage specifications and conduct a marketing <br /> effort for the Town of Mashpee for a maximum of $4, 000. 00 <br /> as outlined in the proposal of February 12 , 1990. Mr. <br /> Gottlieb seconded the motion. All were in favor. <br /> 2 . SHELLFISH COMMISSION - REGULATIONS - A pub 1 i,-= hearing 'I�ias <br /> held relative to changes to the Shellfish Regulations . <br /> Dave Ryan appeared before the Board to explain the changes . <br />
