BOARD OF SELECTMEN <br /> MINUTES - REGULAR SESSION <br /> MONDAY, FEBRUARY 26, 1990 <br /> PAGE .FOUR <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> 1 . CONSERVATION COMMISSION APPOINTMENTS- The Board received a <br /> memorandum .from the Conservation Commission advising - that <br /> they had voted that Edwin Beeby and Duncan York fill the <br /> remaining vacancies on the Commission. The Commission did <br /> not recommend which applicant should fill the post of <br /> regular and associate member. <br /> Mrs. Jacobson moved to appoint Mr. Edwin Beeby to the <br /> regular . (voting) position on the Conservation Commission. <br /> Mr. Gottlieb seconded the motion. <br /> Mr. Hanson moved to appoint Mr. Duncan York to the regular <br /> (voting) position and to appoint Mr . Beeby to the alternate <br /> position on the Conservation Commission. Mr. Lawrence <br /> seconded the motion and Mr. Carter was in favor . <br /> Mr. Harrington indicated that he would Present a policy to <br /> the Board relative to the interviewing/appointment process <br /> for Committees at next week' s meeting. <br /> 2 . PROPOSED CHANGES TO PERSONNEL ADMINISTATION PLAN - The <br /> Board discussed a memorandum from Kevin Harrington to the <br /> Personnel Board realtive to a number of questions on the <br /> Proposed changes to the Personnel Administration Plan. Mr . <br /> Harrington indicated that he had met with the Personnel <br /> Board and that most of the issues questioned had been <br /> resolved. Mr . Gottlieb suggested that when the matter is <br /> resolved that Mr. Harrington report back to the Board. <br /> 3 . ACCEPTANCE OF CARLSON CONTRACT - Mrs. Jacobson moved to <br /> execute the contract between Carlson Associates and the <br /> Town of Mashpee to complete the preliminary design for a <br /> new school and/or additions to existing schools . Mr. <br /> Hanson seconded the motion. All were in favor. <br />
