l <br /> BOARD OF SELECTMEN <br /> MINUTES _ REGULAR SESSION <br /> MONDAY, MARCH 5, 1990 <br /> PAGE FOUR <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> 1 . HOUSE NUMBERS - The Board received a memorandum from Jane. <br /> Labute relative to a message to be sent to <br /> taxpayers/tennants for lack of clearly marked house <br /> numbers. The Board agreed to defer action on the matter <br /> until opinion from Town Counsel is received. Mr. Lawrence <br /> was not present for this discussion. <br /> 2. SENIOR CENTER BUILDING COMMITTEE - The Board received a <br /> memorandum from Norman. Reed, Chairman of the Senior Center <br /> Building Committee relative to membership on the Committee. <br /> It was agreed that the position with a preferred public <br /> relations background be re-posted. Mr. Lawrence was not <br /> present for this discussion. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> 1 . DIVISION OF FISHERIES AND WILDLIFE - The Board received <br /> communications from the Division of Fisheries and Wildlife <br /> indicating that the Division is considerl'ng acquisition of <br /> approximately 5 acres and 13 acres for the purpose of <br /> vacant land in Mashpee. Mr .' Hanson was not present. <br /> 2 . MARCH 27, 1990 BALLOT -- The Board voted unanimously to <br /> execute the Ballot of March 27, 1990 Ballot relative to the <br /> Cape Cod Commission. Mr. Hanson was not present for the <br /> vote. <br /> 3 . WAIVER OF EMPLOYEE PROBATION - Mrs . Jacobson moved to waive <br /> the employee probation for Diana Lund as recommended by the <br /> Conservation Commission. Mr. Lawrence seconded the motion <br /> and Mr . Carter was in favor. Mr. Hanson was not present <br /> for the vote. <br /> 4. RESERVE SPECIAL POLICE OFFICERS - Mr. Lawrence- moved to <br /> extend the probationary period of Special Officer Carl <br /> Delorme to June 30, 1990 so as ' to complete advanced <br /> training. <br />
