BOARD OF SELECTMEN <br /> MINUTES - REGULAR SESSION <br /> MONDAY, APRIL 30, 1990 <br /> PAGE FIVE <br /> OTHER OLD BUSINESS <br /> 2. SPECIAL TOWN MEETING - JUNE -- Mr. Harrington indicated that <br /> the School Building Committee would not be prepared for a <br /> Special Town Meeting in June. Mr. Hanson agreed, stating <br /> that the Town Hall Building Committee would be ready in the <br /> late summer with accepted bids (actual costs) . Mr. <br /> Lawrence was not present. <br /> 3 . POLICE STATION - Mr . Carter suggested that a representative <br /> of the Police Station Addition Committee__ meet with the <br /> Board to provide updates. Mr. Lawrence was not present. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> 1 . NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF INSURANCE WOMEN'S WEEK - Mrs. <br /> Jacobson moved that May 20 through May 26, 1990 be <br /> proclaimed as National Association of Insurance Women' s <br /> Week. Mr. Carter seconded the motion. All were in. favor. <br /> Mr. Lawrence was not present for the vote. <br /> . 2 . 1 NEW TOWN HALL SITE - The Board received a memo from Mr. <br /> Harrington indicating that the DPW will be clearing <br /> approximately 1/3 acre at the propose Town Hall site for <br /> the prupose of allowing the Architect to conduct multiple <br /> . soil boring tests. The trees , in eight foot lengths, as <br /> well as wood chips will be available to the residents of <br /> the Town. <br /> The Board had no objection to this project. Mr. Lawrence <br /> was not present. <br /> 2 . 2 Mr. Carter moved to approve a draft memo from the Board of <br /> Selectmen to the Board of Health requesting that the <br /> reserve leaching area requirement be eliminated from the <br /> design of the new Town Hall . Mr. Hanson seconded the <br /> motion. All were in favor. Mr. Lawrence was not present. <br />
