BOARD OF SELECTMEN <br /> MINUTES - REGULAR SESSION <br /> MONDAY MAY 29 1990 <br /> PRESENT: Selectmen Carter, Jacobson, Hanson, Lawrence, Executive <br /> Secretary Kevin Harrington <br /> GUESTS: Sgt. Ethier, Ernie Vrigilio, Cherilyn Peters, Ben Lofchie, <br /> Pam Davis <br /> The meeting convened at 7 :00 p.m. <br /> MINUTES <br /> Mrs. Jacobson moved to accept the Regular and Executive Session <br /> minutes of May 14, 1990. Mr. Hanson seconded the motion. All were <br /> in favor. <br /> APPOINTMENTS & HEARINGS <br /> 1 . POLICE STATION ADDITION BULD'ING COMMITTEE - Sgt. Ethier <br /> attended to discuss the current status of the Police <br /> Station Addition project. <br /> Sgt. Ethier informed the Board that the Clerk of the Works <br /> left to accept a position in Plymouth. He stated that the <br /> Committee is in the process of replacing the Clerk of the <br /> Works. <br /> Sgt. Ethier also advised the Board that the project has <br /> come to a stop due to the fact that there is a problem <br /> relative to the relocation of existing power lines, <br /> resulting in a change order (##I ) totaling. approximately <br /> $25, 090. 00. The Police Station Building Committee rejected <br /> the change order and has requested back-up data. Sgt. <br /> Ethier- stated that in his opinion this was an oversite in <br /> the design. <br /> Sgt. Ethier stated that the Committee is further pursuing <br /> the. request for Change Order ##2 - relative to a separate <br /> septic system as per the strong recommendation of the <br /> Beard of Health. Mr. Hanson indicated that a Complex <br /> Committee meeting is to be held on Tuesday, June 5, 1990 <br /> with all parties involved, including architects. <br />
