• A- BOARD OF SELECTMEN <br /> MINUTES <br /> MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 17, 1990 <br /> Present: Selectman Carter, Selectman Gottlieb, Selectman Hanson, <br /> Selectman Jacobson and Selectman Lawrence <br /> Executive Secretary Kevin J. Harrington <br /> Guests: Paul Ott, George Costa, Ernie Virgilio , Michael Campbell <br /> The Meeting was Called to Order by Chairman Carter at 7: 02 p.m. <br /> Selectman Gottlieb asked that the minutes be amended to reflect his <br /> presence at the meeting of September 4, 1990. <br /> The motion was made by Selectman Hanson to approve the minutes of <br /> September 4, 1990. Selectman Lawrence seconded the motion. The Board <br /> in favor to approve the past minutes. <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS : <br /> Scallop Regulations: <br /> There are no changes from last year on the Mashpee Scallop Regula- <br /> tions. The crap report is about the same as last year. <br /> The motion was made by Selectman Lawrence to accept the rules <br /> and regulations. Selectman Jacobson seconded the motion. The vote <br /> of the Board is unanimous. <br /> Letter of Resignation from Town Hall Building Committee: <br /> A letter dated on September the third from Deidre Greelish reports <br /> her resignation from the Town Hall Building Committee. She also services <br /> the Finance Committee and feels it has a broader objective of respon- <br /> sibilities. She is resigning in accordance with the Mashpee Bylaw, <br /> Chapter 5. <br /> Selectman Gottlieb made the motion to approve the resignation <br /> of Deidre Greelish. Selectman Jacobson seconded the motion. The <br /> Board votes in favor of the resignation ' in a unanimous vote. <br /> Letter of ResiEnation from the Board of Assessors: <br /> A letter dated on September the llth from Arthur Morley states <br /> his resignation from the Board of Assessors due to health reasons. <br /> The resignation will be effective on September 30, 1990. <br /> The motion was made by Selectman Lawrence to approve the resignation <br /> of Arthur Morley. Selectman Gottlieb seconded the motion. The Board <br /> votes in favor of the resignation in a unanimous vote. <br /> Selectman Lawrence feels this is a serious problem with the Board <br /> of Assessors with the loss of Mr. Morley. Board Assessor Robert DeLory <br /> has not been attending the meetings with the Board. <br /> Selectman Lawrence would like the Board to send Mr. DeLory a <br /> letter to state his intentions. His decisions are necessary to keep <br /> the Board running. This is a definite emergency situation. <br /> Kevin Harrington also feels there is an immediate need to draft <br /> a letter to Mr: DeLory of his intentions. <br /> The motion was made by Selectman Lawrence to send a letter to <br /> Mr. DeLory with return reciept requested.
