BOARD OF SELECTMEN Page 7 MINUTES MONDAY, NOVEMBER 19, 1990 Water Su 1 Great Neck Road South: The town has provided public water to the Okway Bay Landing residents in the past. Mr. Harrington reports that town water is now available. There is no need to supply the area with water. The motion was made by Selectman Gottlieb to terminate the water supply. Selectman Hanson seconded the motion. The decision ._ is unanimous with the Board. The vote is 4-0. Energy Audit: Mr. Harrington reviewed the energy audit made by Resource Conservation Systems, Inc. on the DPW. Senior Center and Fire Station Buildings. The results indicate 48/kwh can be saved annually by converting all of our lighting at the three. sites. This averages approximately $6100/year in savings. Mr. Harrington has recommended this contract to the Board. Selectman Gottlieb made the motion to authorize Resource Con- servation Systems, Inc. to .revise the lighting in the three sites. Selectman Jacobson seconded the motion. The vote of the Board is unanimous. 4-0. Disposal of Fire Department Vehicle: Chief Ridgeway has recommended the disposal of the 1982 sedan vehicle with over 200, 000 miles on the odometer and deemed beyond repair. The motion was made by Selectman Jacobson to authorize Kevin Harrington to dispose of the vehicle. Selectman Carter seconded the motion. The vote of the Board is unanimous. 4-0. Letter -of Resignation from AnthonyDeLane: The motion was made by Selectman Gottlieb to approve the resigna= Lion of Anthony. DeLane from the Fire Department as of November the 21st. Selectman Hanson seconded the motion. The vote of approval is unanimous. 4-0. Letter of Interest to Service the Senior Center Building Committee : The motion was made by Selectman Jacobson to appoint C . L. N argelin to service the Senior Center Addition Building Committee. She is also making a formal charge for the Senior Center Building Committee to provide plans for the May of 1991 Town Meeting. Selectman Gottlieb seconded the motion. The Board votes in a unanimous decision. The vote is 4-0. Economic Development Committee Appointments; A list was supplied to the Selectmen of individuals interested in servicing the Economic Development Committee. The Board will wait for other interested individuals and make a formal appointment of these members.
