Design Review Committee -3- February 23, 2000
4. Mashpee Industrial Park, 89 Industrial Drive — Open Storage of Pipes
Atty. Brian Garner displayed plans for the open storage of pipes in the Industrial
Park. Discussion centered on the location of the 8 ft. stockade fence and 50 ft.
buffer at the rear of the property which abuts a residential parcel. The noise issue
remains a concern.
A chain link fence was proposed along the boat yard property, however, the
possibility of tying into the boatyard fence was also mentioned in which case the
natural buffer should remain. The planting of a cedar was suggested. Discussion
ensued. '
It was requested a 10 ft. buffer be allowed on the boatyard side. Two parking
spaces will be lost if the 10 ft. buffer is allowed. Immature plantings would remain. If
the stockade fence-is placed at 50 ft., landscaping should be planted in front of it. A
Building Permit will be required for the fence.
5. Augat
The plan was reviewed in the absence of a representative. The addition of twenty
parking spaces in the grassy area is being requested. Additional information is
needed regarding landscaping, species type and sizes, topography, southwest
access, handicap grades and doorways.
Minutes
VOTED: On a motion made by Ms. LeBlanc and seconded by Mr. O'Hara, it was
unanimously voted to accept the Minutes of January 26, 2000, as presented.
VOTED: On a motion made by Mrs. LeBlanc and seconded by Mr. O'Hara, it was
unanimously voted to accept the Minutes of February 9, 2000, as presented.
Adjournment: 8:45 p.m.
Respectfully submitted,
Jane A.
