TOWN OF MASHPEE
DESIGN REVIEW COMMITTEE MEETING
MARCH 8, 2000
The Design Review Committee met at 6: 30 p.m. on Wednesday,
March 8, 2000 in Room 3 of the Mashpee Town Hall .
Committee Members Present: William Hauck, Ex Officio; Ed
Govoni, Chairman; Mary LeBlanc and Walter Yarosh.
1 . Route 28 and Simon' s Road - Ronald J. Mycock
Committee addressed the issues raised at the February 23,
2000 meeting. Either ramps or stairs are needed. The
issue on the setback is going to be a Board of Appeal
issue . The property has reached the maximum amount of
parking allowed.
The applicant is advised the property needs to be revege-
tated. There will be a need for some kind of native grass
mix to prevent erosion. There is always a requirement for
side property line buffers, and the entire lot will have to
be regraded.
The issue becomes that the work limit line is the property
line . Conservation requires a 10-foot buffer, which is not
shown on the current plan. A 10-foot buffer shown on plan
would result in loss of parking spaces . The slope is a 10,
11-foot slope in 20 feet .
The committee will plan on meeting with Mr. Mycock at the
site next week and view the lot .
2 . Mashpee Industrial Park 4 Buildings - Storage and
light manufacturing
Mr. Terry Lutt showed plans regarding information
requested from the last meeting of February 23, 2000,
including elevations, signage and definition of use.
