a
Design Review Committee -3- June 14, 2000
Mr. Mycock informs he has met with Mr. Taylor, as requested, and also with
Mass. Highway. They requested additional information, and the revisions were
made to the May 4th drawing.
The outlet remains in the same location. In terms of vegetation: There is the
addition of a number of white pine trees; all the trees have been marked. Since
there is no landscaping, the ground cover will be what now exists, with pine-
cones.
The back entrance issue has been addressed. There will be four exit/egresses.
Mr. Mycock informs he has met with the fire department regarding the dumpster,
and that the dumpster, because of its size, is an acceptable distance from the
building. By cutting the building size back, everything has been screened. The
sidewalks are now 6' wide walks. The grading is satisfactory.
The Design Review Committee will accept this revised drawing and plan
conditional with the approval of this revised drawing and plan by the
Conservation Committee.
5. 168 Industrial Drive— Terry Luff
Mr. Terry Luff has presented a set of plans to the committee. The applicant has
decided to sprinkle the buildings. There are 30 and 32-foot setbacks. There is
enough extra space to locate a dumpster.
The roads take the form of a loop; they are two-way. The sidewalks are shown.
The applicant shows the landscaping on the old plan, and the landscaping will be
uniform throughout. The existing vegetation on the front and sides consists of
trees. It is a well-treed lot.
Mr. Luff owns the two lots as shown. As far as the septic system as shown: The
committee informs the applicant that town bylaws do not allow a septic system
on a separate lot from the building.
The committee would approve of the layout of the buildings, and the landscaping
is not a problem. The committee cannot approve the layout of the plan, as this
becomes a code issue. The plan, with the septic system as shown, is unbuild-
able.
