Design Review Committee -2- June 14, 2000
2. Rockland Trust, Mashpee Commons
Anita Poyant is representing Poyant Signs, Inc. The applicant informs that
Rockland Trust will be occupying the former Fleet Bank branch.
The proposed sign will be the same design and the same size and in the same
location. The sign will now read "Rockland Trust." A blue strip will be painted
across the sign and not cut off, and there may be a slight difference in the blue
color shading. The entire sign will be painted. Considering the square footage
of the sign, there is more than adequate space for graphics.
This sign application meets with the approval of the Design Review Committee.
3. Correspondence/Willowbend Pro Am, Mashpee Rotary
The Willowbend Pro Am sign at the Mashpee Rotary is approved by the Design
Review Committee. The sign is posted as of June 12, 2000 and ending June 27,
2000.
Plan Review
4. Route 28 and Simon's Road — Ronald J. M cock
Mr. Ronald Mycock has presented clean copies of the engineering plan to the
committee. In view of the committee's request for a 50-foot setback, the
applicant has reduced the building size by 15 feet, cutting the square footage by
850 square feet; therefore, a variance is not required.
The applicant's current drawing has changed compared to the drawing on file
with Conservation. This drawing reflects the changes that Design Review
Committee requested. The applicant informs that copies of this current drawing,
with accompanying letters, have been sent to the Conservation Committee and
Board of Appeals.
