Design Review Committee -3- January 10, 2001
4. 35136 Industrial Drive— Tim Luff
The proponent Terry Luff last appeared before the committee on June 14, 2000.
The current plan now ties two lots together. This plan is now before the
Planning Board. This location is in the Mashpee River water recharge area. The
intended use is office space/mixed use; parking is adequate. The lot is a flat
grade. Lighting on all buildings will be on timers. There is no sign application at
present.
The landscaping is natural and the lots.are well wooded. There are several grass
swale areas located within the lots; some landscape plantings should be included
around these areas to improve appearance. The proponent will return before
the committee with landscaping plans, and address the grass Swale areas.
5. Ron's Excavating — 81 Echo Road
Committee member M. LeBlanc excuses herself for this presentation.
The proponent Ronald Gangemi last appeared before the committee on October
11, 2000. The Planning Board has completed its review on this plan. The site
consists of 14 acres. The buildings will be tan in color, white doors. The
committee feels the site is fine.
6. The Comfort Man — 67 Industrial Drive
Committee member M. LeBlanc excuses herself for this presentation.
There exists an easement to this lot. The lot is nicely wooded. There is a 20%
grade coming from the back; front setback is 75'; footprint of 56' by 64'.
The proponent wishes to install double-hung windows in building, not shown on
plan. The building is ash gray in color, fern green trim. The roof is asphalt
shingles. The committee feels metal siding may be used instead of vinyl. The
building entrance must be covered. The paving,is not considered part of
landscaping.
