Mashpee Design Review Committee <br /> Minutes of Meeting Held Wednesday,February 12,2003 <br /> Mashpee Town Hall Meeting Room 3 <br /> Committee Members Present: Walter Yarosh,Mary LeBlanc, Thomas O'Hara, and <br /> Russell Wheeler. <br /> Absent: Edward Govoni, and Don Myers. <br /> The meeting came to order at 9:30 a.m. <br /> S_s <br /> Intersection of Great Neck Road North and Old Barnstable Road <br /> KCC & Ouashnet ElemegtM PTO <br /> Carol Mitchell was present. She said they are now asking that the location of the sign be on <br /> same side as Quashnet Valley sign and leave the other sign where it is. <br /> Conclusion: ..They are to get a permit. Russ Wheeler will inform Greg Taylor they are <br /> leaving the other sign where it is. <br /> Site Plan and Landscape Review <br /> Cape Cod Fence <br /> Merry Meadow Enterprises <br /> Applicant—Davenport Realty Trust <br /> 18 Falmouth Road <br /> Jack Landers,Phil Cheney(landscape planner)and Rick Bates were present. Jack showed <br /> layout Plan and discussed parking needs. Following discussion,he said he would put his <br /> data in table form. Jack noted that they made a number of revisions to the Plan. Changed <br /> conceptually so they do not have access from the back. He said what is depicted on the Plan <br /> is fact—they now have cross easements. Jack further stated that the well is going to be <br /> abandoned. Following discussion it was concluded that part of condition should be that those <br /> connected to the well have to hook up to Town Water. <br /> Landscape Plans were provided and discussed in detail by Jack and Phil Cheney. Mary <br /> offered comments and suggestions as to size of trees they might consider and suggested they <br /> have higher trees for the back. She said do it right'the first time. <br /> Fencing...Suggestion: Chain link down one side; run wood fence at back and along other <br /> side. Rick said the front will have 30"white picket fencing. Following suggested ideas, <br /> they'll also stagger some flowers at front picket fence as well. <br />
