Signs
Deer Crossing
Awning and Menu Signage—Edwin Watts Golf. (old Factory Mart)
Tory Upham and Kurt Maimaron attended and during discussion the following items were
noted:
• 5%of area of space in front canopy becomes part of sign board.
• Walter referred them to the By-Laws and provided copy to them.
• Have to draw a Plan and do the calculation. Submit the Plan. Design Review needs
to know exactly what you want to do. This should be on the Plan.
• They stated that yellow is their corporate color. Need letter from company saying it's
the corporate color.
• Road sign ... How much space is up to the landlord.
• File to get permit. Road sign can be on separate permit.
Mr. Maimaron asked: Are there any issues I should know about? Walter responded:
whatever is in the By-Laws is what's allowed. Walter also mentioned that they could put a
package together and send it for Design Review to go over...they don't have to drive down.
Summed up: Have Plan fit By-Laws and make it look nice.
Mr. Maimaron then asked if they did banner-style sign and put gooseneck lighting, would
that work? Response: Probably not a problem, but check with landlord also.
Conclusion: To submit Plan for Design Review.
Signage_-The Carpet Bam Inc.
Linda Martinho was present. Walter explained the setback requirements and explained that
the proposed sign is way over the allowed 5%area for signage. Linda said whatever Boston
Interiors does, they'd do. She said they're all planning on using same sign company to make
the building look nice. Lighting: Suggestion was made that perhaps gooseneck off the roof
would work.
Conclusion: To submit Plan for Design Review.
5 Shell Back Way
Rockland Trust(relocation of sign)
Plymouth Sign Company
Michael Caggiano of Plymouth Sign was present. He stated that the owner will take existing
Deer Crossing Condominium sign down and Rockland Trust would like to put their approved
sign in that location.
Conclusion: Sign approved and stamped approved.
2
