Mashpee Design Review Committee Minutes of Meeting Held Thursday,November 4,2004L Mashpee Town Hall Meeting Room 3 Committee Members Present: Walter Yarosh, Thomas O'Hara, Lee Gurney,Richard Stevens, and Robert Nelson. Absent: Mary LeBlanc. i Summary • Bike Zone—Appeared without application to ask how to apply for signage. They were provided information and will apply though Building Department when they prepare proposal and application. • Mashpee 130 Shops, Inc. ---To resubmit revised Site and Landscape Plans for review by Design Review Committee. Walter Yarosh, Chairman, called the meeting to order at 8:30 a.m. Sims Bike Zone DBA 360 Mashpge Commons Ken Alty appeared on behalf of owners Ryan and Tim Alty and said they had a question as to size of sign allowed for their Bike Zone store. Mr. Alty was advised: • Allowance is 10%of area. • Suggested they take picture of storefront or show site plan showing proposed location of sign; dimensions; and colors. Conclusion: Sign proposal to be brought to Building Department for Design Review to review. Site Plan and Landscape Review 470 Main Street Mashpee 130 Shops, Inc. Sullivan Engineering, Inc.,Doug Bill Restaurant and Theater Site Plan Review,October 8, 2004 Doug Bill submitted a draft Site Plan proposal and photographs of the current site. Mr. Bill explained the proposal and said that the Cape Cod Commission wants to review the project since they state it is a change in use situation,which Mr. Bill believes is not correct. Mr. Bill stated the site had previously been used as private restaurant(s)and other business and Kathleen in the Board of Selectmen Office is looking for back licenses for the area. A copy of the October 27,2004 letter from the Cape Cod Commission to Eric Smith, Assistant Town Planner, was presented to Design Review and copy of that letter is attached to the printed set of these minutes.
