He said <br /> the reason the signs are being updated is because the restaurant now offers lunch and that is why they are changing the <br /> wording. He said they are proposing total signage at 20 square feet. In reviewing the location of the posts of the existing <br /> sign, Design Review Committee noted that it appears the posts are located in the road layout of the State highway and <br /> they therefore will need State approval for the street location. <br /> Conclusion: Upgraded sign approved subject to State approvals of sign location in road layout. <br /> 340 Main Street <br /> KenMark Office Systems <br /> Dgy Siggs Com an <br /> Mike Day appeared and presented proposed 2-sided sign and said the location is open to suggestions from the Committee. <br /> He said the sign is not going to be lighted. He also noted that it is plastic but the lettering finishes like wood in <br /> appearance. <br /> Conclusion: Approved sign with condition that applicant should choose location,landscape adjustments to make <br /> sign visible,and lighting for sign,if any,and then submit proposal to Design Review for review. <br /> I <br /> 439 Nathan Ellis Highway <br /> Brickyard Marketplace <br /> The Pizza Guys <br /> I <br /> Mike Day of Day Signs appeared with proposed sign that totaled 20 square feet. Design Review Committee tormented <br /> that the yellow sign band color is harsh looking. It was suggested during the discussion that if they put block red letters <br /> on a gray sign band and highlight the letters.in green it would stand out and not be so harsh looking. <br /> Conclusion: Approved logo and block letters on gray sign band. <br /> Discussion <br /> The topic of the number of illegal signs appearing in Town was discussed.
