Mashpee Design Review Committee L/C4il1 <br /> Minutes of Meeting Held Thursday,September 27,2007 <br /> Mashpee Town Hall Meeting Room 1 <br /> Committee Members Present: Walter Yarosh,Robert Nelson, Thomas O'Hara, Tom Jalowy, and Richard Stevens. <br /> Walter Yarosh, Chairman, called the meeting to order at 8:30 am. <br /> Sims <br /> 28 Bates Road <br /> Green Design Center <br /> Nicole Goldman <br /> Nicole Goldman appeared and presented copies of photos of revised signage she was submitting with her application, as <br /> well as swatch and plastic samples to show colors to be used in the window and door signs. Walter explained that signage <br /> is to let people know where the business is and therefore he made the suggestion that the letter"g"be made to look more <br /> traditional in keeping with the surrounding business area Ms. Goodman said she is open to suggestions because she <br /> wants to get the sign approved. In discussing the logo, the Committee took a vote and 2 members(Tom Jalowy and <br /> Walter Yarosh)voted they did not approve of the logo appearance; and 2 members(Tom O'Hara and Robert Nelson) <br /> voted they approved of the logo appearance. A lengthy discussion was held regarding the window and door signage and <br /> Nicole Goldman agreed to make changes to her proposals as suggested. Some of the suggestions included: <br /> * Move"g"to center of window panel and also to center of door and make the top of the window square equal with <br /> door signage height. <br /> * Will place window sign on mat background so it will look more like a sign. <br /> Conclusion: Nicole Goldman will make suggested changes as noted on her proposal and will bring the revised <br /> request to the Building Department to be reviewed by Design Review. <br /> 800 Falmouth Road (B-102) <br /> Community Connection <br /> Jim McDermott Sian*A*Rama <br /> Jim McDermott appeared and said the size of the proposed sign has been reduced to 2X10. <br /> Conclusion: Stamped Approved since size now 2X10. <br /> 35C South Street <br /> ApILhcant: Mark Person <br /> Mark Person appeared.
