Tom Jalowy stated he did the initial concept design so he recused <br /> himself from participating in this review. <br /> Mr. Frye presented his proposal and explained the planting will go down to where his fence turns out <br /> to the street. Richard Stevens commented that what they've done with that property ... they are an <br /> asset to the Town. <br /> In reviewing the plan'and sign, the Committee raised a concern that if sidewalks come through then <br /> his sign is too far out. Mr. Frye said if that happens, he'll pall his sign back. Mr. Frye said he'll leave <br /> his sign where it is now and then come back after they define the road layout. <br /> CONCLUSION: SIGN AND LANDSCAPE PLANTINGS APPROVED SUBJECT TO APPROVAL <br /> BY DPW OF STREET LINE LAYOUT AND LOCATION. <br /> Committee Re-Organization <br /> Tom O'Hara advised that Walter Yarosh resigned from Design Review Committee and that George <br /> Petersen, Jr. has been appointed to the Committee. <br /> Tom Jalowy nominated Tom O'Hara Chairman of Design Review Committee; Bob Nelson seconded <br /> the nomination; and Tom O'Hara was elected Chairman. <br /> i <br /> j Tom O'Hara nominated Tom Jalowy Vice Chairman of Design-Review Committee;.-Bob Nelson- - -- <br /> - - -seconded-the nomination;and-Tom Jalowy was elected Vice Chairman. <br /> Approval of Minutes <br /> Bob Nelson motioned to accept the minutes of the Design Review Committee Meeting of April 22, <br /> 2010 as written; Tom O'Hara seconded this motion; and it was unanimously passed. <br /> Discussion <br /> A discussion was addressed to violations present at the Mashpee Fish & Lobster site at the Mashpee <br /> Rotary. It was the consensus of the Committee that the Building Inspector should address the <br /> violations, which include: <br /> • Dumpster...does not match approved plan. <br /> • Parking lot lighting...lights not in proper location and exceed lot lines. <br /> • Bouse House has to be 30' from building...Is it unisex? Handicap accessible?
