First Citizens' Credit Union (continued) Tom O'Hara's Comments • Can this building be tied into Mashpee Commons' system? Kevin Kirrane said he can inquire with Mashpee Commons to see whether that is doable. • No front buffer. Kevin said other than on the 28 side, but that's the whole concept to bring "village concept/village feel". Kevin Kirrane said 28 required to maintain 50' buffer so that's what they're planning to do. • Tom reiterated his concerns about drivers cutting across Job's Fishing Road. It is going to increase traffic and Tom said he would like Police/DPW to respond to that. Tom said he is very concerned about parking lot egress. • Stairs at front of the building is in the street layout—that has to go away. Drive aisle safety is a concern. Tom said get handicap parking away from the drive aisle. • Tom said Job's Fishing Road is primary route for Fire Department and Police Department. There is a set-back requirement. Kevin said but you can't deny access. Kevin repeated that this is consistent with what Mashpee Commons is presenting. George Petersen's Comments Plan shows planter going into roadway might-of-way. The site plan needs to be revised and resubmitted without encroachment of the building or structure in the roadway right of way. The building layout is very close to Job's Fishing Road; consider increasing the building setback from Job's Fishing Road. A reduced setback along the rear side of the property is acceptable in order to create wider setback along the front side of the site. • There are concerns an individual exiting the parking area would not be able to see oncoming traffic; use low size plants so they don't have visual blockage. George Petersen voiced safety concerns on Job's Fishing Road. He said that road is now the preferred way to make it to 28. He said making left turn coming out of the parking lot concerns — -him.—He-would-lean-more to-right-turn-only coming out of the parking lot far safety reasons. Bob Nelson's Comments Handicap parking spot 11...can this be moved in southerly direction? • Bob commented that when 40B negotiated, Mashpee Commons said bicycle paths had to be on both sides. Here calls for sidewalk, not bicycle path. Kevin Kirrane said he will raise that with Mr. Storrs. • Bob advised that it was stipulated in the 40B that Market Street was to be built out first under phase 1 to the point where vehicular traffic could use the street. • Bob said ZBA will ask Engineer Charley Rowley to cover this as engineer for ZBA and there will be costs to applicant for this.
