They felt that the new Fire Chief should be allowed <br /> to make his recommendations to the Board. Bob Sullivan said that he also felt that the <br /> candidate was too young to be a call firefighter. . <br /> Vacation Request - Wendy Rubin <br /> Wendy's vacation request for time. off for vacation on September 2, 3 and 7 was denied <br /> . by the Personnel Board as they felt that she should be available during the busy Labor <br /> Day weekend. <br /> Important Business of the Personnel Board <br /> The Board asked the secretary to send a .memo to-the Board of Selectmen asking that busi- <br /> ness which the Personnel.Board acts on at their Monday night meetings be put-on the <br /> agenda for the Board of Selectmen's Wednesday meeting that same week. <br /> Mash pee Firefi hter's Association <br /> Newly Elected Officers . <br /> A memo from Paul Frazier dated July 15 notifies the Personnel Board of the newly elected <br /> officers to the Mashpee Firefighter's Association.
