All in favor . <br /> The Board asked that a memo be sent to all department heads 'advising <br /> them that compensatory time has increased to twelve days from ten days <br /> and that it must be taken during the fiscal year as no carry over of <br /> , compensatory time will be allowed in the future . <br /> Personnel Board Liaisons <br /> Board members reviewed an updated . sheet of Personnel Board liaisons to <br /> Town Departments . All were in agreement with their assignments . <br /> Benefits for Under Twenty Hour Employees <br /> The Board was updated on the status of their memo to the Board of Select- <br /> men advising them that they set a precedent in their office. by allowing <br /> the Floating Clerk , who works 18 hours weekly , to have vacation time . <br /> The Selectmen did not act on the Board ' s letter . Chairman Sullivan said <br /> that he was. at the meeting of the Board of Selectmen when it came up for <br /> discussion ; however , the Executive Secretary advised the Selectmen that <br /> it was compensatory time . Chairman Sullivan said that he quickly pointed <br /> out that the P .A .P . does not allow for compensatory time for part-time <br /> employees . A memo has now been sent to the -Finance Committee asking them <br /> for their guidance . <br /> Jane Stockbridge commented that they should allow .them to have some bene- <br /> fits that do not cost any money pro-rated .to the hours worked . Manny <br /> Glickman suggested listingbenefits to see ' what can be molded to allowing <br /> the:: under 20 hour employees . <br /> New Personnel Board Members <br /> The Personnel Board reviewed a memo from the Board of Selectmen ' s office <br /> advising them that there was a policy for adopting policies . This was <br /> in response to the Personnel Board ' s memo asking that a policy be adopted <br /> by the Selectmen for candidates applying to serve on the Personnel Board . <br /> Chairman Sullivan asked that a memo be sent to the Selectmen stating that <br /> the Board ' s policy is to have all candidates who apply copied to the Per- <br /> sonnel Board with recommendations being sent back to the Selectmen for <br /> consideration of appointment . <br /> Comparative Salary Survey <br /> Withregard to the Personnel Board ' s request for the assistance of the <br /> Floating Clerk for a comparative salary survey review , the Selectmen ad- <br /> vise the Board that they cannot accommodate the Personnel Board in this <br /> endeavor due to limitations on staff as a result of a transition in the <br /> position of executive secretary . Selectmen suggest the Personnel Board <br /> make use of the annual salary survey conducted of all .Cape Cod communi- <br /> ties in the Fall .
