A memo from Joyce Mason regarding the Nov. 3rd meeting. Tom posted it as a Sewer Commission meeting. Pilot Project: is complete. The draft report is undergoing review by DEP. Tom wishes the DEP was still involved because now there is no one to bring the 3 towns together. Don said the town of Barnstable is not planning on sewering anywhere else in town; how will we count on them for input to our problem? Tom is not familiar with what is going on there. He is not aware of any facilities planning they are doing, for this area (near Mashpee). Bill Hall said S & W is working with them. They are not planning anything now, but will be shortly. New Developments - Assisted Living facility: the zoning article to increase building height was defeated. Tom does not know the status of that project. -Stratford Ponds has a new engineer. Jeff asked for a copy of the delineation plan. Tom said it moved quite a distance. Smart Growth Committee: at their next meeting will discuss the new "O'Leary bill", 0%p funding for wastewater infrastructure. Towns must have a completed and approved wastewater plan and have adopted a growth neutral bylaw. I Falmouth: they are proceeding with modeling for the County Club site but sound very interested in the MMR site for a plant. SMaST is asking for a contract with Mashpee, for the piece of money they are provided towards Falmouth's work. Tom said it is a lot of work. He will work on a draft contract for next meeting. USGS solute transport work: they called Jeff looking for data, which Jeff has sent to them. The Sewer Commission decided to hold a special meeting to discuss their 2010 budget, since Commissioner Berelli is not available tonight. October 28th 7:00 Mashpee Town Hall.
