J <br /> SRF Loan Payments Update: Still holding $4600.00 in bills from Stearns & Wheeler. <br /> Cannot be paid until loan is renewed (State revolving fund loan). Selectmen have signed the <br /> paperwork. As soon as paperwork is all set,need to send requisition to pay bills. <br /> Status of discussions w/MWD, Selectmen,FinCom: Commissioner Fudala has not heard <br /> an update. <br /> CCWCP items: No update. <br /> Popponesset Bay Pilot Project Update: Final report has been distributed on disc. Pilot <br /> project is completed. Project was main conduit for communication between Mashpee, <br /> Barnstable and Sandwich regarding watershed issues. A new way to maintain <br /> communication will need to be found. Town of Sandwich has looked for a large sum of <br /> money, approximately $400,000.00 - $500,000.00 from the state from the Textron settlement <br /> at MMR Town of Mashpee has applied for a grant to do a study of Santuit Pond phosphorus <br /> overloading. Discussion on state land acquisition proposal on Lovell's Lane, also looking for <br /> Textron funding. <br /> New developments/existing development requiring WW treatment plants: <br /> The proposed assisted living facility at Route 151 1 Old Barnstable Road—project <br /> appears to be dead and the property back on the market. <br /> Mashpee Village—Received call from Kevin Olson. Mr. Fudala has left a message for <br /> him. <br /> Summerwood—no update. <br /> Stratford Ponds--discharge area relocation underway, and may be done by now. <br /> Barnstable County Collaborative Smart Growth Working Group update—draft final <br /> report received and presentation made at Mashpee Town Hall on March 25, 2009. <br /> Reviewed scenarios,with small lots that need to have a sewer run by them. Proactively <br /> should be adopting a growth neutral by-law. <br /> Falmouth issues: Commissioner Berrelli update on MMR and Falmouth NMR meeting. <br /> No update. Commissioner Berrelli was not present at the meeting. <br /> Potential USGS Solute Transport modeling of WW discharges in Popponesset watershed. <br /> No update. <br /> Motion to Adiourn: Don Desmairais moved to adjourn meeting of the Sewer <br /> Commission.
