i <br /> Mashpee Board of Sewer Commissioners <br /> AGENDA <br /> Wednesday, July 22, 2009 <br /> Mashpee Town Hall, Selectmen's Meeting Room 4:30 p.m. <br /> Final review of unified data base and 5 wastewater facilities scenarios to be modeled by SMaST with SMaST staff and <br /> S&W and Lombardo consultants. 1) Summary of changes/improvements to database 2) Confirmation that scenarios <br /> are as intended 3) Next steps 4) Delivery Schedule for model run results and report. <br /> Status of Stearns &Wheler tasks: 4 scenarios and databases submitted for SMaST review <br /> - Subsurface investigations on hold due to State Archaeologist study requirements and NHESP letters received re: <br /> state-listed species <br /> - Green Seal Environmental (MBE/WBE) subsurface investigations sub-contract— scope of work on hold <br /> - Proposed Archaeological survey on transfer station site — PAL proposal for $8000 on hold <br /> - Regina Villa subcontract on hold pending clarification of other costs and timetable <br /> Status of Lombardo &Associates tasks: Nitrex scenario and databases submitted for SMaST review <br /> Lombardo &Associates proposal for facilities siting scope of work—on hold until MEP model results received <br /> Discussion of funding situation — Town Meeting approved Article 11 to renew the Sewer Commission Facilities Plan <br /> Account (non-SRF supplemental Town Meeting appropriation) at their April 7 meeting, $22,589.61 remaining in <br /> account must cover $7592 SMaST supplemental contract, $8000 for one intensive archaeological study, $2000 owed <br /> to Lombardo for existing work, $10,000 Lombardo proposal for next phase of scenario work. Research with Treasurer <br /> and Town Accountant does not find any indication of previously-assumed original SRF shortfall. Article submitted for <br /> October Town Meeting for renewal of 3-year funding authorization for MEP Waquoit Bay study jointly funded with <br /> Falmouth. <br /> SRF Loan payments update-- S&W $2120.65 December and $2500 January billings sent to state. Funds not yet <br /> received. <br /> Status of discussions w/ MWD, Selectmen, FinCom — Matt Berrelli update on first meeting held of sewer financing <br /> subcommittee. <br /> CCWPC items: nothing new <br /> New developments/ existing development requiring WW treatment plants: <br /> - proposed assisted living facility at Route 151 / Old Barnstable Road -- project appears to be dead and property <br /> back on the market <br /> - Mashpee Village— no news <br /> - Summerwood — no news <br /> - Stratford Ponds —discharge area relocation completed <br /> Barnstable County Collaborative Smart Growth Working Group update—final report received and presentation made at <br /> Mashpee Town Hall 3/25/09. Copies available on disk. <br /> Falmouth issues: <br /> - Commissioner Berrelli update on MMR and Falmouth NMR meetings <br /> - SMaST Waquoit Bay MEP modeling — UMass signed copies of contract returned with amendments— completion date <br /> changed to June 30, 2010 (see note refunding article above). <br /> - S&W Groundwater Modeling report for Falmouth discharge area received. <br /> Potential USGS Solute Transport modeling of WW discharges in Popponesset watershed — no news <br /> Approval of minutes April 21, 2009 <br /> Any other business <br /> Executive Session <br /> Adjournment <br />
