Susan Bennick, John's Pond. Susan noted that huge potholes are creating a traffic hazard in certain
areas and asked that the Town do something to repair these hazards.
John Cahalane Asked: Where Do We Go From Here?
Lee Gurney:
1) Put a DCPC application together asap
2) Look at a comprehensive plan
3) Have the Zoning Board take the most outspoken view possible
Beverly Kane:
1) We need a Blue Ribbon committee to concentrate on this problem alone, as soon as possible.
She suggested taking the representatives here tonight to make up this committee.
John Cahalane called for a follow-up meeting of this Chairman's Committee on August 10, 2004, 7 PM at
Town Hall. Each chairperson is responsible for bringing feedback from his/her Board to this meeting. A
public survey was suggested as a good way to get feed back opinions from the Mashpee residents.
Joyce reminded the group that email to Town Board chairmen is available to the public for their
comments and opinions. The Town is also in the process of updating its website.
As there was no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 8:35 PM,
Respectfully submitted,
Ina G. S
'hkl"I o b o h m
Recording Secretary
