Hicks Drive <br /> Business name: Boys and Girls Club of Mashpee <br /> Owner/Agent: Jim Kiley <br /> Architect/Engineer: Bay Colony Group, Inc. <br /> Request: Construction of a one-story, 9,669 gsf building on a <br /> 54,450 sq. ft. portion of land leased from the Town of Mashpee. <br /> Mr. Morris opened the meeting at 9:04 am. <br /> Present at the meeting was Mr. James Kiley, President of the Boys and Girls Club, Mr. Ron <br /> Bonvie, Project Liaison, and Mr. William Buckley, Civil Engineer with Bay Colony Group, Inc. <br /> Mr. Kiley has been working with Bay Colony, and his Architect on the project for the past <br /> several months. He said that the Boys and Girls Club of Cape Cod provides space for all <br /> children on the Cape, but now there is a need to add a new facility to provide a separate <br /> space for the older children during the afternoons. There are several supervised programs <br /> that will provide children to get involved and assist them for their future goals. <br /> Mr. Kiley introduced Mr. Bonvie who has been assisting him through the process. Mr. Bonvie <br /> mentioned that his involvement is to assist Mr. Kiley and his team with the architectural and <br /> engineering process for this project. He has worked with Mr. Buckley on several projects and <br /> subdivisions over the past several years, and that is the extent of his service. <br /> Mr. Buckley provided a full engineered plan set, including a photometric plan, storm water <br /> report, and a color rendering of the site. This is a 1.25 acre parcel of land located to the left <br /> of the existing Boys and Girls Club building. The site location is currently heavily wooded, and <br /> is approximately 350 ft. away from the nearest neighborhood. The one-story building will be <br /> approximately 9,600 sq. ft. The site topography drops off fairly steeply to the northwest. <br /> I <br />
