of TMs s,s
z.
AU1MLIUVy
own qf MaS 2 Panning Board
c
16 Great Neck RoadNorth
-Mashpee, -Massachusetts 02649
asked. They have been great neighbors and this is an opportunity. He referenced the time
being 8:40PM and just now being recognized to speak.
Terrie Cook- She has been in Mashpee on Angelo's Way for 39 years. She provided comment
at the Dec. 18t" meeting. She doesn't understand why this is taking so long. Willowbend is
willing to work with whatever mitigation, it seems like a moving target, and every time they
come forward the needle gets moved a little further. She is in favor of this project, and she
lives diagonal from the Cranberry Point project, it will affect her. She is encouraging them to
come to a decision and move it along.
Irene Ledwith- This is the first meeting she's ever been to, but she has been reading The
Mashpee Enterprise. Her husband and her moved to Mashpee three years ago, but her
parents had a house in New Seabury in the 80's. The Town has two big issues: nitrogen
pollution and affordable housing. Working people like teachers can't find year-round housing.
Now we are spending this time trying to modify a 31-year-old permit, but 31 years ago
Mashpee was not the same. Mitigation doesn't sound very reliable and $560,000 is nothing
compared to what is being spent on sewar.
William Bogan — He commented Willowbend is an averagely decent neighbor. It is reasonable
to be in favor, but he is against this project. It is time to decide, and the decision should be no.
The applicant has succeeded in moving the goal post. Mitigations need to stop being
accepted. Urge a vote to end the process and say no.
After review, Mr. Pesce commented that all requested changes were met by Mr. Eddy, and he
looked for further discussion of the Landscaping Plan.
Mr. Eddy stated the number of units went from 14 to 12, which pulled it back from
Quinaquisset Ave. He would accept a condition that the landscaping would be infilled in a
similar fashion and variety to what's represented throughout the project, notably the entry way.
With the absence of the village green, there will be a natural buffer. He noted there is also a
wooded buffer up Quinaquisset with nothing disturbed. The Landscape Plan addresses the
entrance area.
Ms. Waygan would like the village green to remain as wooded buffer when labeled.
MOTION:
Mr. Balzarini made a motion to close the Public Hearing. Seconded by Mr.
Richardson.All in favor.
4
