Ms. Waygan would like to add this to the agenda for the second <br /> meeting in March. <br /> Mr. Pesce will do an invoice for Island Pickle along with other invoices for March 5t". He will try <br /> and be here for the Southworth Public Hearing. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> Review of Housing Production Plan <br /> Barriers to Development, p.47 — 60 <br /> Ms. Waygan is unhappy with this chapter, she would like it to be more direct, especially about <br /> our water issues like green pond, massive algae, and a failed estuary system. The rest of the <br /> state has a requirement of 10% increase in affordable housing, whereas the state wants <br /> Mashpee to increase 2.5%. <br /> There are some zoning or regulatory barriers to creating affordable housing. We must consider <br /> water, property costs, construction costs, land availability, coastal sustainability re: climate <br /> change, and other environmental conditions. We are a Sole Source Aquifer. <br /> Ms. Waygan commented pages 47-60 need to be rewritten. Next time, we will pick up on page <br /> 61: Housing Production Plan Goals. <br /> Don Allen — He commented about another barrier to housing being lack of sewer access for <br /> affordable housing. <br /> Housing Production Plan, p.61-65 <br /> 4 <br />
