v Article 34 : To see if the Town will vote to construct a water distribution system in the Briarwood/Otis Trailer Park area and that to accomplish said purpose, and for expenses incidental and related thereto, the Town vote to appropriate $1, 231,000 and to raise such appropriation, the Treasurer, with approval of the Board of Selectmen, be authorized to borrow at one time or from time to time $11231,000 under and pursuant tc Chapter 44, Section 7, and Chapter 44, Section 8, subsections 1, 3, 5, 7, 7A, and 7C of Massachusetts General Laws, or any other enabling authority, and to issue bonds or notes of the Town therefore, with said indebtedness authorization contingent upon passage of a referendum to exclude the principal and interest on such debt- from the tax levy limitation imposed by Chapter 59, Section 21C of Massa- chusetts General Laws, (so-called Proposition 2 1/2) ; and further, to see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate $61,550 to the Interest on Temporary Loans Account and $6,155 to the Issuance of Debt Account, Motion to accept as printed Motion to appropriate $1 ,231 ,000 and to raise such appropriation the Treasurer with the approval of the Board of Selectmen, be authorized borrow $1 ,231 ,000. Raise and appropriate $61 , 550 and $6, 155 . . .motion carries. . . This would allow bond authorization to construct Unanimous.8: 11 P Phase 1 of a water distribution system in the Briarwood neighborhood and Otis Trailer Park . The amount of money is based upon the estimate of the Town 's consulting engineering as design of the system has yet to be completed. Approval of the construction would be based upon this article and a Proposition 2 1/2 debt exclusion vote at a special election to be held at an unspecified date.
