This article is designed to <br /> allow the Board of Selectmen to appoint a non-resident <br /> as a technical advisor to the Committee <br /> Article 62: <br /> To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Board of Selectmen to <br /> regulate eel fishing by amending Article 4. 9 of the Town By-Laws to <br /> read as follows : <br /> "Article 4. 9 Shellfishing and Eel Fishing Regulations . The Board of <br /> Selectmen is authorized to make regulations governing the taking of <br /> shellfish and eels from the foreshores, flats and tidal waters of the <br /> Town of Mashpee. No such regulations shall become effective until a <br /> public hearing has been held by the Board of Selectmen and public <br /> notice of the regulations adopted shall have been given.
