3 . A receipt of a bill from the veterinarian who <br /> performed the operation that spayed or neutered <br /> the dog <br /> 4. A spayed female license or neutered male license <br /> license certificate, or certified copy of there- <br /> of, from another town if the dog was previously <br /> licensed elsewhere <br /> C . Transfer License <br /> If a dog is permanently moved into the Town of <br /> Mashpee, the owner or keeper must, within 30 days <br /> of his moving into the town, present the original <br /> license certificate and tag to the Town Clerk . The <br /> Clerk must take up the license certificate and tag <br /> issue a new license and tag: <br /> Section 4 .14 .3 <br /> Fees <br /> 1. There shall be four types of fees to be charged: <br /> a. Neutered male and spayed female licenses <br /> b. Male and female licenses <br /> C . Transfer license (regardless of sex of dog) <br /> d . Substitute tags <br /> 2. The amount of the fee shall be determined by the, Board <br /> of Selectmen <br /> 3. The following licenses are exempt from fee : <br /> a. Dog specifically trained to lead or serve the blind <br /> b. Dog specifically trained to serve a deaf person <br /> 4. once a dog license fee has been paid for to the town, <br /> no part of the fee will be refunded. <br /> Section 4 . 14 . 4 <br /> Substitute Tags <br /> If a tag is lost during a licensing period, the owner must obtain a <br /> substitute tag from the Town Clerk. These tags have the year, the <br /> name of the town, and the number of original tag stamped on the tag. <br /> Section 4 . 14. 5 <br /> Persons Convicted of Cruelty to Animals <br /> 1. A dog license shall become void and shall immediately be <br /> surrendered to the clerk if the holder of the license has <br /> -60- <br />
