Collins, Town Manager <br /> Brian Tobin, Town Planner <br /> Zack Seabury, Health Agent <br /> Lieutenant Olivier Naas, Police Department <br /> 9:00 am Project Address: 868 Falmouth Road <br /> Engineer: Melinda Costello with Weston 8v Sampson <br /> Agent: Dan Serber, NextGrid <br /> Project: Five (5) Carport Canopies proposed behind existing storage <br /> facility total footprint 53,431 sq. ft. No new buildings proposed. <br /> (Note: the notepad recording device did not record the meeting because the internet <br /> access was down.) <br /> Ms. Melinda Costello presented. Mr. Serber was on a cell phone. <br /> The carports were designed at a minimum height of 14 ft., and a maximum above <br /> ground surface height of 22 ft. in the rear. The carports were designed so that an <br /> arial lift fire truck could navigate around the entire site with a 360-degree access. <br /> The carport parking is underneath and blocked off in the area where the fire trucks <br /> could access. The area in the rear of the lot is currently used for boat and RV storage, <br /> and the solar carports will provide coverage for the boats and RVs. There is no <br /> change in ground cover in the area where the carports will be built, and will remain <br /> with existing gravel. There is a residential neighborhood on the south end of the lot, <br /> and an existing lot line of 125 ft. The Zoning Bylaw allows 100 ft. setback for large <br /> scale solar. They are asking for a 50 ft. waiver. <br /> 1 <br />
