This is in the 1-1 Zoning District. <br /> There are six (6) existing buildings, and zero proposed buildings. <br /> Ms. Melinda Costello presented the application. Dan Serber was on available on cell phone <br /> to answer anyquestions.The project involvesfive(5) proposed solar canopy carports. These <br /> carports will be installed in the rear of the property. The existing property is a self-storage <br /> facilitythat has RV and boat storage. These solar canopies will builtto provide coverage for <br /> the boats and RV's during the winter. The proposed height of the carports will be between 14 <br /> ft. up to 22 ft. The carports will be situated to allow the aerial fire truck emergency access <br /> around the lottoward and the rearof the property. <br /> The south end of the property is an R-3 Residential Zoning District,and the lot line is 125 ft. <br /> from all residential structures. According to the Zoning Bylaws, there is a 100 ft. setback <br /> requirementfor solar. There is a waiverrequest from the 100 ft. setback requirementof 50 ft. <br /> There is no proposed tree removal along the edge of the residential neighborhood.There will <br /> be some minor brush removal on the northern array.
