The No Place for Hate banner hung in the lobby, we came so far, but now it seems as though we are regressing. Ms. Johnson-Graham would like to address bullying more at the next meeting. MOTION: Richard Klein made a motion to approve the MIDC community survey with edits and send to the Town Manager for approval. Seconded by Mohamad Zefzaf. All in favor. Race Amity Day Update Mr. Kupferman noted they are on track, and at the last meeting there was a discussion about providing free food. In conversations with the BOH to see what that would entail, it doesn't look like it will pan out. We are back to the pizza idea and seeing if various pizza parlors in Mashpee would be willing to donate. If they cannot donate, we can discuss the possibility of providing several pizzas at cost. The Chamber of Commerce would be a good resource. Ms. Wilson inquired about the $2,000 and if any had been spent. Mr. Kupferman stated those funds are typically earmarked for the performers. We are also waiting for sponsorship; we reached out to the New England Patriots. Ms. Johnson-Graham will talk to Dino from Dino's Pizza & Sports Bar, he is generous when helping the town. It was also suggested maybe Wamp Wheels could be sponsored for a price. The Student Representatives will connect with other high school students to see who would be willing to volunteer at this event. This subcommittee meets on the second Thursday of every month at 6:OOPM. NEW BUSINESS 2025 Chamber of Commerce Plans for Annual Publication & Kiosk: Town, Committee, and Tribal promotion Rockland Trust will sponsor the Tribal write up to be added back into the Chamber publication booklet.
