The Select Board recommends approval of Article 19 by a vote of 5-0 <br />The Finance Committee recommends approval of Article 19 by a vote of 6-0 <br />Motion made by Select Board Member Cotton <br />Motion: I move the Town vote to approve Article 19 as printed in the warrant, with the <br />exception of the phrase "or take any other action relating thereto." <br />Motion passes 173 to 16 at 8:56PM <br />Article 20 <br />To see if the Town will vote to upgrade one part-time Plumbing and Gas Inspector Position to a <br />full-time Plumbing and Gas Inspector Position within the Building Department (40 hours per <br />week) in the Personnel Administration Plan (PAP), to be effective July 1, 2025, and to appropriate <br />and transfer the sum of $103,958 from revenue available for appropriation with said funds to be <br />distributed as follows: $49,706 to the Building Department Full -Time Salary Account; $721 to the <br />Medicare Account; $33,126 to the Medical Insurance Account; $35 to the Group Life Insurance <br />Account; $20,370 to the Pension Reserve Account, or take any other action relating thereto. <br />Submitted by the Building Department <br />Explanation: This article seeks to create the position in order to meet the increased work load <br />demands incurred by the Wastewater Sewer Project. <br />The Select Board recommends approval of Article 20 by a vote of 5-0 <br />The Finance Committee recommends approval of Article 20 by a vote of 6-0 <br />Motion made by Select Board Member Sherman <br />Motion: I move the Town vote to approve Article 20 as printed in the warrant, with the <br />exception of the phrase "or take any other action relating thereto." <br />Motion passes 184 to 14 at 8:57PM <br />Article 21 <br />To see if the Town will vote to upgrade one part-time Activity Coordinator position to a full-time <br />Activity Coordinator position within the Council on Aging department, with said position to be <br />classified under the Clerical Union, to be effective July 1, 2025, and to appropriate and transfer <br />the sum of $99,410 from revenue available for appropriation with said funds to be distributed as <br />follows: $52,695 to Council on Aging Full -Time Clerical Salary Account, $765 to the Medicare <br />expense account, $12,790 to the Barnstable County Retirement, $33,125 to the Town's portion of <br />
